On the job

How a job actually goes.

  1. 01

    Ground

Cut, fill, levels shot, spoil off site, base compacted. The bit nobody photographs.

Palms set on a fresh cut, excavator still on site
  2. 02

    Structure

Retaining, drainage, GEOHEX and concrete. Posts, mesh, walls — anything that takes load.

Timber sleeper wall on a cut beside the shed
  3. 03

    Finish

Driveways, paving, steps. Set out before anything's laid, not guessed on the day.

Crazy pave patio beside a timber deck
  4. 04

    Handover

Site clean, water going where it should, levels as set out. Then we nick off.

Finished paved courtyard and timber pergola

Water
away.

Drainage, levels and backfill decide whether a wall lasts. We sort that before the first sleeper goes in.

Where we work

Melbourne's
south east.

Berwick, Pakenham, Officer, Clyde North, Cranbourne and up through the Dandenongs. Close enough that a levels check is usually a morning trip, not next week.
